§ Mr. George Robertsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he issued the circular giving effect to his answer of 6 May 1981, Official Report, c. 71, indicating his acceptance of the recommendations of the Halliday committee on land transaction procedures.
§ Mr. John MacKaySince NHS land transactions are undertaken by the Scottish Home and Health Department the recommendations accepted by my right hon. Friend were given immediate effect in that field. Guidance, in interim form pending wider changes, taking account of the Halliday recommendations was issued to health boards on 21 May 1981.
