asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots are employed at the United Kingdom sovereign bases at (a) Dikelya and (b) Akrotiri.

Some 1,999 Greek Cypriots are employed at the United Kingdom sovereign base at Akrotiri, and 884 at the base at Dikelya; 337 Turkish Cypriots are employed at Dikelya. In addition, 156 Turkish and Greek Cypriots are employed at other British installations in the Republic of Cyprus.
