§ Mr. John PattenWe have no plans to do so. However, the Department's social work service development group is carrying out a major project aimed at increasing the understanding of service providers, whether statutory or voluntary of the needs of carers, and of the variety of ways in which they can be helped. This seems likely to be more useful in practice.
