HC Deb 12 December 1983 vol 50 cc340-1W
Mr. Fisher

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much he has included in his estimate of £1,900 million for special sales of assets in his public expenditure plans for 1984–85 in respect of (a) British Telecom and (b) the sate of council houses.

Mr. Moore

Because of uncertainties attaching to the timing of future sales and commercial considerations, it is not our practice to give a breakdown of future special sales of assets targets. Receipts from the sales of council houses are not, however, included in such targets.

Mr. Fisher

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what assets he included in his estimate of £1,900 million for special sales of assets in his public expenditure plans for 1984–85.

Mr. Moore

I have nothing to add to my reply earlier today to the hon. Member.
