HC Deb 12 December 1983 vol 50 cc363-4W
20. Mr. Hubbard-Miles

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what the real-term growth in revenue allocation to the National Health Service in Wales was from 1978–79 to 1982–83 and 1983–84.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

Recurring revenue allocations to health authorities in Wales, after allowance is made for pay and price movements, rose by 11.4 per cent. between 1978–79 and 1982–83. The total available for 1983–84 will allow authorities to spend on the same price basis some 1.5 per cent. more than their 1982–83 allocations.
