§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsThe EC Commission's current proposal for a supplementary levy on milk deliveries in excess of the 1983 guarantee threshold, which is equal to 1981 delivery levels plus 1 per cent. would have a marked effect on milk producers' incomes. However, negotiations are continuing and the Government are determined to ensure that there is no discrimination against United Kingdom producers.
