§ Mr. GummerFigures for 1982 are not yet available. The numbers of death certificates for 1981 which mention asbestosis, asbestosis and lung cancer and mesothelioma are as follows:

The figures differ very slightly from those quoted in my reply to the hon. Member for Bolsover (Mr. Skinner) on 27 July — [Vol. 46, c. 359.] — because of the exceptionally late receipt of some death certificates.
