Friend and I have received a number of representations concerning the recommendation of the National Advisory Body for Local Authority Higher Education, in the context of the NAB's proposals for the sector as a whole, that there should be no new intake to the degree course in town and country planning at Trent polytechnic. Those making representations are being assured that their representations will be taken into account before my right hon. Friend reaches his final decisions on NAB's proposals.
