§ Mr. Wyn RobertsMost cases involving depression are treated by general practitioners and data is not collected centrally on such cases. The Welsh Office publication "Mental Health Statistics for Wales No. 3, 1983", a copy of which is in the Library, gives information on mental illness hospitals and units. Tables 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.9, 2.10 and 2.11 give information in relation to diagnostic groups, and included in a number of these are cases involving depression.
