Sir Bernard Braineasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will seek confirmation from the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics that they are implementing the agreement reached at the conference for security and cooperation in Europe review meeting in Madrid with regard to the human contacts section of the Helsinki final act.
§ Mr. RifkindWe take frequent opportunities to remind the Soviet authorities of the additional commitments undertaken in the human contacts field in the Madrid concluding document. We shall continue, with our partners and allies, to follow closely the implementation of these commitments by the Soviet Union.
