Mr. Kilroy-Silk

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will state for each of the six prisoners who have been in prison on remand for the longest period of time, the offences with which they have been charged and the length of time they have so far been held in prison on remand;

(2) how many (a) men, (b) women, (c) girls of school age and (d) boys of school age were remanded in custody at the latest available date; and how many in each category have been waiting for (i) over two years, (ii) 18 months to two years, (iii) one year to 18 months, (iv) nine months to one year, and (v) six to nine months.
