§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThe NHS has one 24-bed centre with supporting cardiology facilities in Cardiff with three surgeons performing about 500 cardiac operations annually. The BUPA hospital in Cardiff also carries out some cardiac surgery operations, but we do not collect statistics from the private sector.
