(2) if he will prohibit the import of milk into Great Britain from countries where foot and mouth disease is endemic; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mrs FennerThe importation of milk regulations provide that imports of milk are permitted only from member states of the European Community. Foot and mouth disease is not endemic in any of these countries. The most serious outbreaks which have occured in recent years have been in Brittany in France and Funen in Denmark. Both these outbreaks were well contained in a short time.
