§ Mr. Alexander FletcherThe suggestion that a levy might be placed on imported, and home produced, cassette tapes has been made to the Government both in the context of the review of copyright legislation as a solution to the problem of in-home taping, and in the review of the Department's sponsorship of the films industry. In each case, this is one of a number of proposals, all of which are now being carefully considered.
