§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the future of the Glasgow area office of the Property Services Agency in view of its importance in the west of Scotland.
§ Sir George YoungMy right hon. Friend has decided to proceed with the development of proposals for restructuring the Property Services Agency on the basis of a reduction from three to two tiers in the agency's regional structure and the separation of defence and civil work into two organisations. Further work is now in hand to assess the detailed implications, but no decisions have yet been taken about the future of individual offices.
