§ Mr. Masonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the urban programme expenditure for each of the regions in 1982 showing the amounts granted to each programme area or designated districts, the total expenditure for each of the regions and the percentage of the United Kingdom total which each region's figure represents.
§ Sir George Young[pursuant to his reply, 25 April 1983, c. 274]: Information on urban programme resources relates to financial years. The resources allocated in 1982–83 to each partnership, programme authority and other designated districts, and the totals allocated to each DOE administrative region, are shown in the following table. The figures include the latest available estimate of the take-up of additional capital resources, following the invitation to bid for such resources issued to local authorities in October 1982. Outturn figures for actual expenditure in 1982–83 are not yet available.
