§ Mr. Giles ShawThe allocation of grant to the region this year is some £5 million. This represents an increase of nearly 50 per cent. on the planned provision for 1982–83 and will allow substantial progress to be made on reclamation schemes. I am satisfied that the allocation is a reasonable one.
