§ Mr. Easthamasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will issue guidelines to local authorities on eligibility for the special 5p television licences for the various categories of entitlement.
§ Mr. MellorInformation about the conditions on which the old persons' home television licence may be granted, which remains unchanged, was sent to all local authorities in April 1978. Further advice will be issued when the extension of the 5p licence scheme to physically disabled and mentally disordered people in similar accommodation, which my right hon. Friend announced on 23 February in reply to a question from my hon. Friend the Member for Dudley, West (Mr. Blackburn) is introduced. [Vol. 37, c.439.]
