§ Mr. John Carlisleasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will list the names of members of his Department who have visited South Africa in an official capacity since May 1979 and the duration of their stays.
§ Mr. PymPrecise records of visits to South Africa by Foreign and Commonwealth Office officials are not maintained. Officers dealing with Southern African affairs do however visit South Africa from time to time in the normal course of their duties. There have been about a dozen such visits since 1979.
