§ Mr. Peter ReesThe visible trade balance was in deficit by £121 million in the three months up to February 1983, the latest period available. However, this includes the large erratic deficit of £491 million in January. The visible trade balance in the last six months to February 1983 was in surplus by nearly £1 billion.
