asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have studied the findings of B. W. Jeffs and W. M. Saunders reported in the British Journal of Addiction, on minimising alcohol-related offences by enforcement of the existing licensing legislation, and what advice on this matter they will give to chief officers of police.
