Whether they have studied the findings of B. W. Jeffs and W. M. Saunders reported in the British 795WA Journal of Addiction, on minimising alcohol-related offences by enforcement of the existing licensing legislation, and what advice on this matter they will give to chief officers of police.
§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Home Office (Lord Elton)Her Majesty's Government are aware of the findings of this research, published in last month's edition of theBritish Journal of Addiction, and are consider its implications.
