§ Mrs. ChalkerThe A617 is a local road, for which Derbyshire county council is the highway authority. Derbyshire county council did not include proposals for a bypass of Glapwell in its 1983–84 transport policy and programme. It is up to it to consider the case for a bypass, and to decide whether to include it in its annual bid for transport supplementary grant.
