§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeOur view remains that the operation of the Act will make no significantly greater demands on local authorities. Additional funds are being allocated to the Central Council for Education and Training in Social Work for its extra work arising from the introduction of approved social workers, and this will be of benefit to local authorities.
