asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the review by Sir Alec Atkinson of the selection procedures for administration trainees in the home Civil Service, and for certain other grades, has been completed, and whether it will be published.

Sir Alec Atkinson's report has now been received by the Civil Service Commissioners, and will be published on Wednesday, 20th April. I am arranging for a copy of the report to be placed in the Library of the House.
