§ Mr. Alfred Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science, pursuant to the reply of 25 February, Official Report, c. 547, if, in order to monitor and assess the effectiveness of education and publicity expenditure aimed at countering discrimination against disabled people, he will take steps to identify the elements of such expenditure by his Department; and if he will make a statement.
§ Dr. BoysonThis Department has no separately indentifiable programme of education and publicity to counter discrimination against the disabled. Such activity is invariably integral to other policy initiatives and it is impossible to isolate expenditure related only to that specific purpose.
