§ Dr. BoysonThe Department receives about six letters each month from the public on this subject, of which perhaps five ask for greater emphasis on discipline, while the remainder are mainly neutral, including requests for information. Public opinion is plainly important: it is expressed in a variety of ways, of which this is one.
