§ Mr. HurdThat is for them to say, but lasting peace in the middle east will be possible only when all the parties concerned are prepared to accept each other's legitimate rights. We take every opportunity, including the recent visit of the Arab League delegation, to urge them to move in this direction.
§ Mr. Lathamasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what visits have been made to Israel by himself or by other Ministers in his Department since he assumed his present office; and what visits are planned to that country in the next six months.
§ Mr. HurdNo such visits have taken place and none is planned at present. There have been many exchanges at official level.
