§ Mr. HurdThe details of exchanges at the Geneva negotiations remain confidential. Verification of an agreement covering cruise missiles has been discussed by the United States and Soviet delegations, and amongst the Allies at the meetings of NATO's special consultative group. The United States has made it clear that adequate verification will be essential for any INF agreement.
