Whether they are aware that Turkish mineworkers and others are now paralysed following torture by the military junta in Turkey and whether, having regard for their concern for human rights, they will protest.
§ Lord SkelmersdaleWe continue to make the Turkish authorities aware of our concern over alleged violations of human rights. The Turkish Government maintain that such allegations are investigated and, where appropriate, the culprits punished.
