Household Duties Test

Mr. Beith

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he expects to publish the report of his Department's review of the household duties test for noncontributory invalidity benefit for married women.

Mr. McNamara

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services when he expects his departmental review into the recommendations of the national insurance advisory committee for the phasing out of the household duties test to be completed.
