§ Mr. Timothy Smithasked the Attorney-General what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government on the issue of limited liability for claims of negligence against solicitors and members of other professions.
The Solicitor-General:No request has yet been received by the Government from the governing body of any profession to make any change in the law relating to professional liability and there are at present no plans to do so.
