§ Mr. Craigenasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what action he is taking over the combined heat and electrical power generation studies following the initial feasibility study in the Glasgow area.
§ Mr. Alexander Fletcher:My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Energy is responsible for this study. The report of the lead consultants on the combined heat and power/district heating feasibility programme is at present being considered by the nine cities involved in the initial study and by other interested parties. Comments are expected to be received shortly and the report will then be published.
