§ Mr. Staintonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he is yet in a position to reply with a definitive ruling to the submission made to him by the hon. Member for Sudbury and Woodbridge in a letter dated 25 February regarding the interpretation of the Education Act 1944 in relation to Suffolk county council and parents in dispute therewith concerning school transport.
§ Dr. Boyson:As my hon. Friend will be aware, the Suffolk local education authority revised the basis of its transport arrangements from Capel St. Mary last month. My right hon. Friend hopes to let him have a decision on the original complaint, in the light of those revised arrangements, very shortly.
