§ Mrs. Renee Shortasked the Secretary of State for Social Services, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for Wolverhampton, North-East on 19 July,Official Report, c. 53,if he is now in a position to make an announcement on the discussions he has had with representatives of the National Health Service and the private sector about introducing charges to cover the handling and processing costs incurred by the national blood transfusion service in supplying blood to private hospitals and clinics.
