Mr. Teddy Taylor

asked the Minister for Trade (1) what was the positive or negative balance of trade in manufactures with the EEC and the rest of the world, respectively, in the most recent 12-month period for which figures are available; and if he will state the positive or negative balances for the same period in each of the previous comparable annual periods commencing 1960–61;

(2) what was the positive or negative balance of trade in all goods, commodities arid services with the EEC and the rest of the world, respectively, in the most recent 12 month period for which figures are available; and if he will state the positive or negative balances for the same period in each of the previous comparable annual periods commencing 1960–61.
