The Solicitor-GeneralThe decision was made, after hearing argument, by the hon. Mr. Justice Cantley sitting at Leeds on 7 July 1982. No Minister was responsible for this judicial decision and the trial, which was duly held at Mold Crown court, resulted in an acquittal of the defendant on 14 October 1982.
