§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Prime Minister whether it is proposed that the full cost of the ships lost in the Falklands action be added i.o the annual defence budget; and over what time scale such an addition is proposed to be made.
§ The Prime MinisterThe additions to the defence budget for the replacement of equipment lost in the Falklands conflict will be based on the full cost of replacement and will be spread over the period of procurement.
