Amending legislation is necessary to apply to coroners' jurors the qualifications and disqualifications which at present apply to Crown court and county court jurors. My right hon. Friend accepted, in a parliamentary reply to the late Sir Graham Page on 11 November 1980—[Vol. 993, c. 151]—the necessity for such legislation in due course.
