§ Mr. Parryasked the Prime Minister if she is satisfied with democratic reform in Hong Kong, particularly as it affects the poorer sections of the community.
§ The Prime Minister:I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given by my right hon. Friend the Member for Spelthorne (Mr. Atkins) on 2 March 1982. Since then, district boards elections have been held successfully in the New Territories on 4 March 1982 and in the urban areas on 23 September 1982.
