§ Mr. Michael RobertsThe Department's primary responsibility in this respect is for the trunk road system in Wales. In considering proposals for bypasses and other improvements to the system my Department takes full account of all relevant factors, including the volume and148W type of traffic using the route. Proposed improvements are shown in the Welsh Office's publication "Roads in Wales", a new edition of which I expect to be published early next year.
