§ Mr. Kenneth BakerThe rapid expansion of the British microcomputer industry has prevented any accurate measurement of its size and growth rate. Estimates suggest that the number of microcomputers manufactured in Britain have risen from a few tens of thousands in 1980 to more than half a million by the end of 1982.
