Mr. Dykes

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, further to his reply in the Official Report of 18 January, column 76, he can now give an estimate of the revenue obtained from the increase in rates of excise duty on matches and mechanical lighters in the 1981 Budget to the nearest available date.

Mr. Bruce-Gardyne
