asked the Minister for Trade what are the totals of full-time and part-time staff and what were the staff costs and other costs in 1981–82 in the Companies Registration Office.

On 1 December 1982, 993 full-time staff were employed and 78 part-time in the Companies Registration Office. Staff costs in 1981–82 were £6.5 million and other costs £6.4 million.
