§ Mr. Sproat[pursuant to the reply, 26 November 1982, c. 589.]: The Government intend to sell a controlling stake in British Airways to the private sector as soon as practicable. I cannot forecast exactly when this will be. It will depend on the state of British Airways, of the airline industry in general, and of the stock market.
