§ Mr. Andrew F. Bennettasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will raise with the European Economic Community Commission the failure of the French Government to observe the directive 79/409/EEC on the conservation of wild birds, particularly in relation to the shooting seasons for thrushes and turtle doves, and the hunting of larks with nets in five areas of south-west France.
