§ Mr. AlisonAt August 1982, the latest date for which the information is available, there were 50,536 ethnic minority workers registered as unemployed in Greater London and 1,804 in the area covered by the Holloway and Kings Cross employment offices, which corresponds closely to Islington. The increases since May 1979 were 211 and 95 per cent., respectively. An analysis by duration of unemployment for ethnic minorities is not available.
