§ Mrs. ChalkerI was grateful for an opportunity to meet representatives of the British Horse Society recently. We had a useful discussion on a number of issues relating to the problems of horses and road safety. These included provision for horse riders crossing major roads, the possibility of converting disused railway lines to bridleways and publicity aimed at improving other road users' awareness of horse riders.
