§ Mr. Ron Lewisasked the Minister for Trade if, pursuant to the answer to the hon. Member for Aberdeenshire, East (Mr. McQuarrie) Official Report, 15 November, c. 6, concerning applications by private sector airlines for a licence to operate the London to Inverness air service, he will make representations to the successful company to consider making intermittent stops at Carlisle for passengers in the north-west of England and south of Scotland, on this service.
