§ Mr. Hannamasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what assistance for the training of the armed forces the United Kingdom is giving to the Government of Ghana.
§ Mr. OnslowThe United Kingdom Government provide personnel for the Ghana armed forces staff college and Ghanaians continue to attend military training courses in the United Kingdom. At the request of the Ghanaians authorities, the United Kingdom has agreed to make a gift of non-lethal military equipment, such as uniforms, boots and groundsheets, to the Ghanaian armed forces. The gift is intended to help the army to resume training exercises.
