HC Deb 19 November 1982 vol 32 c299W
Mr. Kilroy-Silk

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what, and how many, offences were alleged to have been committed by British diplomats with diplomatic immunity working abroad so far in the current year.

Mr. Onslow

We have had no reports from posts overseas in the current year of criminal offences against local law allegedly committed by members of the Diplomatic Service working overseas. We would not necessarily expect to be advised of minor offences—for example, traffic violations.
